Case Study: Wycombe Abbey HK - UK Boarding Schools iFestival

Top Schools collaborated with Wycombe Abbey School Hong Kong, a private primary school established in Hong Kong in September 2020. WASHK approached us for promotion opportunities which evolved into a collaboration. Although we were not involved in this project from the very beginning, our role was crucial to its success.


WASHK had engaged a PR company and committed to advertising with several well known online channels. The combined efforts of the promotion by WAS and Top Schools generated 84% of the total 1046 registrations. 10% came from one other source and just under 6% came from the remaining 7 sources.


The project was to host three webinars for parents to hear from UK boarding schools on three consecutive Saturday afternoons. We advised that using Zoom meeting would potentially be disastrous and, instead, set these up as Zoom webinars.

We developed dedicated web pages to list all speakers’ bios and photos, as well as list this information in brief in the Zoom invitation.

We ran multiple practice sessions, invited all panellists and monitored all live broadcasts. Following the broadcasts, we delivered full video files to the client to be shared on YouTube in Hong Kong as well as other platforms in Mainland China via Wycombe Abbey's owner, BE Education.
