Founded in 1879, St Lawrence College is a thriving independent boarding and day school, providing a first class education for boys and girls from 3 to 18 years. Located on the Kent coast, within easy access to London - only 75 minutes away, and Gatwick and Heathrow under 2 hours.
St Lawrence is set in a very safe and spacious self-contained campus. We offer a very special community in which to live and learn. Boarding for pupils aged 7-18 is central to the school's life, and it is one of our great strengths, whether weekly or full boarding we aim to provide a 'home-from-home' for all.
Every individual is nurtured to achieve their full potential and pupils are prepared for life in a rapidly changing global society. A combination of dedicated staff, a broad and challenging curriculum, strong work ethic and focus on core educational skills provide a stimulating, inspiring and purposeful learning experience for our pupils. We are also proud to have been one of only 14 schools globally to have been granted the status of a World Class High Performance Learning School.
With outstanding facilities - from a magnificent Sports Centre to a 500 seated Theatre, St Lawrence offers the diversity and support all children should experience in their education.
