26 years in Hong Kong

- Back then, finding a good school for your child was even more difficult than it is today. Information on schools was only learned by word of mouth. Sam explained how she stumbled upon a good school for her daughters.

- Looking back, Sam wishes that she’d sent her kids to a local school so that they could learn the Cantonese. She explains that they probably would’ve had an easier time in Hong Kong if they could speak Cantonese. In addition, understanding the local language would’ve helped them socialize with children outside of school.
