Where most companies provide medical benefits and sometimes housing to staff, and particularly families, it’s rare for employers to provide support for placing children in school.
Why is that?
Companies often do include school fees in the package, but rarely specialist support to find a place, which is considered unnecessary when a generalist on staff or a relocation agent can usually manage to find a school place . International assignments can be challenging enough, but when you add children into the mix, it can make it even more stressful.
