The results are in and they are surprising to say the least! In Hong Kong, 37 local and international schools offer the IB Diploma Programme.
Globally, of 170,660 candidates, 104,275 went the non-exam route and 65,576 went the exam route (809 were split between both routes). Now this is where it gets interesting!
The average diploma score is 33.02 points, up from 31.34 in May 2020! Now, the really surprising statistic is the number of students achieving 40-45 points. That number is 15,513, up from 9,701 in May 2020. Finally the Diploma pass rate is 88.96% now, up from 85.18% in May 2020.
So the question everyone is asking is how/why is this possible?
